2024 OSHA Staff Training Seminar

3:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Program: The purpose of this seminar is to assist the funeral home owner in providing the mandated annual OSHA training to its professional staff as required under 29 CFR 1910.1030 Bloodborne Pathogens and 29 CFR 1910.1048 Formaldehyde

The seminar is designed specifically for employees. It is not meant to be a compliance seminar for owners.  It is assumed that the employer is already making a good-faith effort at OSHA compliance and is using this seminar as a part of its ongoing compliance efforts.

Further, it is assumed that all employees have already received training in these areas as required by law. Both regulations require initial training and annual training thereafter. Therefore, for almost all employees, this should simply be a review and updating session rather than a comprehensive educational seminar.

This seminar is pending approval for 1 hour of continuing education credit.  We will send the link for the webinar closer to the date of the  seminar.

Cost: The cost is $25 per member attendee/$50 per non-member attendee.  Each registrant must register with a unique e-mail address.

Presenter: Curt Rostad will present the seminar which will satisfy the annual OSHA staff training requirements. 

Seminar is hosted by Kansas Funeral Directors Association, Missouri Funeral Directors & Embalmers Association, Nebraska Funeral Directors Association and Iowa Funeral Directors Association.
