Decreasing Customer Loyalty: The Problem Isn't What You Think

Presented by Monica Kroier and Michael Robinson, Funeral Directors Live

In today's market, funeral professionals can no longer take customer loyalty for granted. Many funeral directors feel like they are losing ground to cremation and other non-traditional sources of competition. Most funeral professionals are blaming the changing funeral consumer for declining loyalty, but the REAL problem is much closer to home. During this eye-opening presentation, participants will learn the true reason for declining customer loyalty and take away actionable steps to rebuild customer loyalty and grow their business.

When Their Baby Dies, the Service is Just the Start: Child-Centric Care, Comfort and Community for Funeral Directors

Presented by Crystal Webster, Sharing Solace

This interactive course will empower you to navigate the unique and deeply personal needs of the 90,000 families each year facing the death of a child. We’ll explore, the critical differences between traditional (“grandma’s”) funeral services and those for children,, diving into the emotional, logistical, and community-driven aspects that set them apart, practical and meaningful memory-making opportunities (before it’s too late), how to guide families toward uniquely child appropriate caskets and urns – and where to find them, and local and national child-focused resources financial, emotional, and spiritual—to be able to offer holistic support.
